Jokari® Cable Cutter with Hook Blade, for cables 8–28 mm in diameter, TiN-coated
»Jokari® Cable Cutter: Two-component tool with a non-slip soft-grip insert for optimal handling and a thumb recess with a hook blade (8–28 mm diameter). Cable cutters proven millions of times over for circular and longitudinal cuts; cutting depth can be individually adjusted via a screw, ensuring that damage to the inner conductors is prevented. Handle shells made of wear-resistant polyamide. Both the tips of the internal cable cutters and the cutting edges of the attached bow blades are coated with titanium nitride. At approx. 500°C, titanium nitride is vapor-deposited onto the cutting blade in a vacuum chamber using the PVD process. The reduced surface roughness and extremely high hardness result in excellent gliding properties and high wear and abrasion resistance. TiN-coated blades can be used with significantly greater durability and cutting performance.
