MultiPro set consisting of a basic device, a pressing head and a cutting head
Thanks to its interchangeable heads, the MultiPro battery-powered hydraulic change system enables a wide range of applications to be carried out with just one professional-quality device. The basic device offers a force of 62 kN and a stroke of 32 mm. An LED illuminates the work area and the interchangeable heads are easy to lock. The tool has an automatic return when cutting and pressing as well as a manual return option for emergencies. The balanced and ergonomic housing shape ensures comfortable handling. In addition, the motor brake prevents dangerous overrunning of the piston. With a cycle time of 3-7 seconds and a service cycle of 20,000 operations, the device is efficient and durable. The heads can be rotated through 180°, allowing flexible use. A charge level indicator provides information on the battery status and the 18 V Li-ion DEWALT battery system ensures reliable performance. An optional shoulder strap can be attached to further increase comfort. The MultiPro interchangeable system includes the following interchangeable heads: The crimping head, which can be equipped with various crimping inserts, offers the option of crimping tubular cable lugs and connectors in the range from 6 to 300 mm². DIN compression cable lugs in accordance with DIN 46235 and connectors in the 6 to 300 mm² range can also be processed. It is also possible to crimp aluminum and AlCu cable lugs in the range from 10 to 300 mm². Furthermore, crimping cable lugs according to DIN 46234 in the range from 10 to 70 mm² and wire end ferrules according to DIN 46228 in the range from 10 to 95 mm² can be crimped. Note: Crimping inserts are not included in the scope of delivery. The cutting head allows the cutting of aluminum and copper cables as well as the cutting of cables up to a diameter of 50 mm (cable class 2/5/6 according to IEC 60228). Note: The cutting head is not suitable for steel-reinforced cables (ACSR).
