The protection of photovoltaic panels by means of earthing is necessary. It should be permanent and provide protection against the effects of lightning strikes and electromagnetic interference throughout the entire service life. The connection series offers you solutions that are adapted to the different types of photovoltaic panels. Safe earthing is achieved by establishing optimum electrical contact between the panel housing and the earthing conductor. The module frames are made of anodized or otherwise treated aluminium. These coatings protect against rust, but do not conduct. Thanks to the series, electrical contact with the aluminum of the panel is possible. Either through a thread in the screwed models or secured through the threaded recess by a bolt connection using a serrated lock washer, which scrapes off the anodization when tightened.
