Stainless steel (VA) material: V2A. Temperature resistant up to 400 °C. Acid and rust resistant. Ring shape. Especially suitable for grounding and lightning protection of aluminum support and frame elements in photovoltaics. The VA cable lug can be used as a connecting element from Cu conductors to aluminum elements, since VA has no corrosive or electro-chemical reactions towards either material. When using commercial Cu cable lugs, the less noble metal (in this case aluminum) can be successively eroded under the influence of moisture and electrical voltage, thus destroying the frame profiles!
